This fruity smoothie is a sweet start to the morning and pays homage to the strawberry.
- 1 banana
- 1 cup strawberries (I prefer fresh, but frozen work)
- 2 Tbsp strawberry preserves or jam
- 2 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup milk of choice (I use soy)
- 1/2 Tbsp cocoa (option)
- Place all ingredients in a blender and puree. Makes 1 serving.
