Breakfast Smoothie # 4 (gf. v)

This fruity smoothie is a sweet start to the morning and pays homage to the strawberry.


  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup strawberries (I prefer fresh, but frozen work)
  • 2 Tbsp strawberry preserves or jam
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (I use soy)
  • 1/2 Tbsp cocoa (option)
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree. Makes 1 serving.
